エロティック・サスペンス・ショッカーの傑作のサウンドトラック。ゴールドスミス自身も、自身の仕事の中で印象に残っている代表作としてあげている異色作。妖しげで、誘うようななまめかしいメロディによるテーマ、そして強烈なサスペンス。巨匠が考えに考えたと言うサウンド・アイデアが見事に作品のイメージを完成させたといっていい、2つとないスコア。デヴィッド・リンチ系の映画音楽がお好みの方あたりにも、おすすめ。 (C)馬場敏裕
