A lyrical guitarist with echoes of both Wes Montgomery and George Benson in his style, Bowman flirts with Latin on the hip-swaying "Sunset" and the flamenco-like delicacy of "The Gift." The album includes one vocal track, the sweet ballad "All I Need Is You," but otherwise, Bowman's knack for lovely, relaxed smooth-jazz instrumentals remains the album's focus.
