“Ministry Of Sound”のミックス・シリーズ“Sessions”8作目をミート・ケイティーが担当。ミート・ケイティーは本作においてダンス・ミュージックへの幅広い音楽性を見せつけ、ネクスト・レヴェルに繋がる充実した内容を提示。CD1はディープなテクノ/ハウスをフィーチャーし、本人曰く「ジャジーなやつとテクノをごちゃまぜにし、ある部分ではとてもソウルフルなんだ」と彼の言葉を、M9 - Andomat 3000 - four:twenty が物語っている。ミニマルとディープ・ハウスが融合し始める中、タイムリーな内容であることは間違いない。CD2はエレクトロ/ミニマルと、ポップさもある“上げめ”な一枚。2枚とも現在のヨーロッパの地下と地上シーンの流れを語っています。
