Actor: Elliot Bergman.
Unknown Contributor Role: Quin Kirchner.
Arranger: NOMO.
Nomo plays fusion in the true sense of the word. With its eight-piece ensemble creating a burbling web of deep, polyrhythmic groove, fluid Afro-pop guitar lines, driving hornlines, and free-jazz-inspired improvisations, Nomo doesn't sound like anyone else on the indie rock scene. On GHOST ROCK, the band's third album, Nomo continues to push the fusion envelope, while placing that envelope firmly in the listener's hand.
Jazz, funk, post-rock, Afro-beat, Krautrock, and straight rock all contribute to the shifting soundscape of GHOST ROCK. Where else can one hear kalimbas, electric sawblade, baritone sax, glockenspiel, rock riffs, and a brainwave monitor (featured on the opener, "Brainwave") on the same album? Nomo draws a straight line from a postmodern world directly to the listener's primordial ear; their third album comes with a guarantee to move both brain and body.
録音 : ステレオ (Studio)
