ナイマンによるモーツァルト・フィーチャー・アルバム
このアルバムの始まりは、2006年のモーツァルト生誕250年記念にあたり、BBCがナイマンに何かモーツァルトにちなんで1枚のアルバムを、と依頼したことでした。2年経過したのでタイトルが「Mozart 252」となっているのはご愛嬌。モーツァルトの歌劇「ドン・ジョヴァンニ」に登場する「カタログの歌」をフィーチャーし、クラシック・テイストとミニマル主義、さらにロックンロールのテイストを融合させたあの伝説の「In Re Don Giovanni」の新録音が登場。ナイマンの手がけた映画音楽で「数に溺れて」にもモーツァルトの音楽がしばしば引用されていましたが、そういったものも新たに録音しなおして、充実の1枚となっています。 ［コメント提供；キングインターナショナル］
