Dense sonic collages are the keynote for EXITING ARM, the group's seventh album, as Doseone's complex, associative rapping is offset with layered melodic vocals and a shifting array of deeply psychedelic textures. EXITING ARM is full of proper songs too, but the songs change shape and fragment to create a work that is joyful in its creative abandon, though dark and often ominous in tone. An absorbing if sometimes disorienting listen, EXITING ARM is a wild, unique ride from one of the underground's most creative outfits.
