2006 年にリリースしたアルバム『Loon』が,MySpace でもArctic Monkeys に続いてインディーズ・バンドの人気投票1 位に輝き,各レコード社争奪戦の末,XL レコーディングスと契約を果たすなど輝かしいデビューを果たした米国ミネアポリス出身の4 人組待望のセカンド・アルバムが完成!!プロデューサーはマーキュリー・レヴの元ベーシストでフレイミング・リップスの第5 のメンバーとも呼ばれるあのDave Fridmann! NY のDave Fridmann 所有のTarbox Road Studio でレコーディングは敢行。一晩中常駐スタッフがいる本格的なレコーディング・スタジオを使える位の"予算"で挑んだアルバム制作は画期的だったようだが"リアルでロックなドラム・サウンド"をどうしても手に入れたい時は,結局天井が6フィート程の高さの場所でレコーディングする事で解決したそう。様々なジャンルを取り込んでオリジナリティへと昇華,ライヴ感溢れるサウンドは,今作でも健在です!!
