スーパー・ファーリー・アニマルズを続けながらソロでも羽根を伸ばしてきたグリフ・リースが、アヴァン・ヒップホップ系プロデューサーのブーム・ビップと組んで大暴れ!　ビップのアルバムで合体済みだったものの、新ユニットまで結成するとはけっこう本気のようです。このファースト・アルバムは、あのアメ車のデロリアンを開発したジョン・デロリアンの生涯にインスパイアされたものらしく、彼の栄光と転落をエレクトロやニューウェイヴ風味で退廃的に表現した快作。グリフらしい歌モノもある一方、スパンク・ロックとバウンスしまくる変態チューンをはじめ、ケイト・ルボンが妖しく声を重ねるエレポップ、ヨー・マジェスティ参加のベース曲など、ゲスト陣を迎えた下世話な曲のほうが断然おもしろいです!
