Almost immediately after pressing play on your preferred music-listening apparatus, you'll be hit head-on with blastbeats, guttural growls, screams, and razor-sharp and precise high-tech riffing. Looking for musical variety? You've come to the wrong place, folks, as Purgation is a steady sonic avalanche of the aforementioned sound and approach, as evidenced by such brutal and anti-tuneful ditties as "Merciless Ignorance," "Rebirth," and "Mortuary Walls," among countless others.
