The Deep River Boys, in their heyday between the mid 1930s and the late 1950s, were a traditional black gospel vocal quintet who occasionally dabbled in secular pop, especially when touring and recording in Europe. The 27-track anthology LET'S GO is evenly split between both sides of their musical personality, half serious gospel standards and half jivey R&B and jump blues numbers like "Get Up Them Stairs Mademoiselle" and "A Zoot Suit."
