The Scottish folk-punk band featuring ex-members of Arab Strap present their sophomore album, the follow-up to 2005's 'The Repulsion Box'. Retaining the dark, sometimes chilling lyrical content and propulsive rockabilly rhythms which characterized their debut, this album, produced by ex-Suede guitarist Bernard Butler, has overall a much harder, fully electrified sound which occasionally recalls sadly defunct American cult act Pretty Girls Make Graves. Features the singles 'Gilt Complex' and 'Darling'.|
