Michel Polnareff was one of the most acclaimed and controversial French pop stars of the 1960s and '70s, attracting fans with his passionate and melodic songs and egging on his detractors through his flamboyant dress, provocative lyrics, and eagerness to thumb his nose at convention. While Polnareff may not shock audiences as he once did, he remains a commanding performer with a strong voice and charisma to match, and this live album, recorded during his Europeans tour of 2006-2007, documents his continued strength as a live act.
