Arctic MonkeysやFranz Ferdinandが所属する英グラスゴーのインディ・レーベルDOMINOから、期待の新星These New Puritansのデビュー・アルバムがリリース！The Fallの曲からバンド名を付けたという弱冠19歳のこの4人組は、ダークなニューウェイヴ・サウンドと、ヒップホップやダブ・ステップから影響を受けたビート、色や数字をテーマにしたコンセプチュアルな歌詞の世界観などで、現在のUKインディ・バンドの中でも一際個性的な輝きを放っています。ディオール・オム07秋冬コレクションのサウンドトラックを手掛け、ランウェイにも登場したことからも分かるとおり、そのルックスも抜群！

'Beat Pyramid' is the debut album from Southend-On-Sea based four piece These New Puritans. Armed with a selection of samplers, keyboards and the usual guitar, bass and drums they create a unique mix of Fall-esque electro indie rock. The singles 'Elvis' and 'Colours' are included.|
