This is a bit of a misleading title. While this disc certainly does feature the short-lived prog supergroup U.K. (bassist John Wetton, drummer Bill Bruford, violinist and keyboardist Eddie Jobson, and guitarist Allan Holdsworth) on their American tour, it also includes tracks from Wetton's other group, the totally horrid Akustika from the same decade. What's worse is that this set is already out in another configuration as Live in Boston (without the Akustika tracks). In other words, if you've purchased Boston, this is the same album with some garbage add-ons. As for those who haven't, this is a solid document of U.K. firing on all burners as they toured between their first and second albums. The music is intense, knotty, and full of key and tempo changes, and features brilliant and gifted musicians interacting basically egolessly -- no mean feat with this lot. The sound quality is excellent to boot. ~ Thom Jurek
