The Electric Flag featured two of the best chops men in the rock business--Michael Bloomfield of the Paul Butterfield Blues Band and HIGHWAY 61 REVISITED, and Buddy Miles, the future drummer for Hendrix's Band of Gypsys. The Flag finds Bloomfield's vision to fuse Cream-style heaviness with big-bang Chicago blues and Memphis soul coming to full, swirling fruition. This two-for-one set features both albums from the band's 1968 peak.
