It combines acoustic strum-and-jangle balladry with blue-eyed soul, bossa nova, and pristine pop approach to create a lush sonic landscape. The unique stylistic paradigm sported a shimmer and sheen on par with the most ambitious work of '70s popsters like 10cc and Steely Dan, but the lyrical/conceptual sensibility is strongly informed by the alt-rock era in which the band emerged. 1985年リリースの2ndアルバム。
ネオアコを代表する作品としてロック史に残る名盤だが、とにかく曲が良い！ネオアコの範疇を超え、ポップアルバムとして傑作。永遠の青春を感じさせる瑞々しいメロディ、なのにどこかアダルトな大人な魅力も併せ持つ。僕も年を重ねた今の方がグッと染みる。シンセサイザーの使用や、ハーモニーのアレンジにネオアコ勢の中では１番ニューウエーブ感強く感じる。
