With ten of Leo Dan's most popular songs, initially Sus Grandes Exitos Nuevas Versiones looks like a good deal. However, as noted in the title, these are in fact new versions of the songs, with more modern instrumentation (including the occasional synthesizer) and a more highly produced sound. There's none of that great '60s poppiness left in tracks like "Mary," "Siempre Estoy Pensando en Ti," "Celia," or "Como Te Extrano," especially the latter's "version reggae". Because of all these changes, it makes a lot more sense to get any of the other Dan best-ofs that are out there, any one of which will more likely show off the singer for what he was. ~ Marisa Brown
