Hailing from Akron, Ohio, The Black Keys have built up a great reputation as result of their highly charged and distorted blues riffs and their bittersweet, no nonsense approach to music making. 'Magic Potion', the two-piece's fourth full-length album, sees the band build on their tried and tested formula to achieve a more accomplished sound. The guitars growl and moan here alongside the pounding drums of Patrick Carney, while Dan Auerbach's soulful and heart-wrenching vocal work pulls the two together to great effect. Singles include 'Your Touch' and 'Just Got To Be/Black Door'.
