The first full-length release from the artist formerly known as Baby Cham under his new abbreviated moniker, GHETTO STORY is built almost entirely around the strength of the title track. It's quite a tough act to follow, and none of the other cuts are able to match the raw power of that exceptional song. Still, with the help of producer extraordinaire Dave Kelly (a.k.a. The Stranger) and guest appearances from Majic Massey, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, and Akon, among others, Cham has put together an all-around tight album, presenting a harder supplement to the Sean Paul-brand of dancehall that has dominated the scene in the early 2000s.|

ゲットー・ストーリー＜初回限定特別価格盤＞｜CDアルバム

Hit Tune"Ghetto Story"は良いが、それに勝るか同等のインパクトを持つ楽曲がないのでアルバムとしては弱い感がある。
しかしどんどんBPMが早いRiddimが増える中で80～100辺りでまとめているのは大いに意味がある作品だろう。
ある意味、Dancehallの風穴になっている一枚だ。
