This collection of soothing, mellow pieces was assembled by the Dharma Moon record label for meditation, relaxation, or anything that requires a restful state of mind. The artists Dharma Moon represents tend to be East-meets-West in the use of traditional instruments joyfully merged with modern dance beats and synthesizers. Here, all is peace and good vibes. The sparse, minimalist electronic notes of the first "Meditation," by Jamie Lawrence, steps up to the improvisational style of "Home Again," featuring bansuri flute, guitars, and synthesizers by David Nichtern. "Shambhala Moon" reveals an up-tempo folk sound, and here Falguni's vocals bring the world-fusion element home again, offering a beautiful transition to her own hypnotic chanting in "Subah," which showcases the transcendent power of her voice.
