Liner Note Author: Kirk Brandon. Previously released as one half of the Act 1 anthology collection, Live in Sweden is a raucous live recording taken from the band's 1981 Scandinavian tour. The quality is not altogether pristine, but it is impossible to resist the excitement that radiated from the stage, or to pick fault with the repertoire that night -- the opening "Original Sin" draws Kirk Brandon towards one of his finest ever vocal performances, while "Westworld" simply whoops and loops with a passion that almost upstages the studio version. And, of course, the audience is as wild as the band, to create a madness that will draw you in, whatever else you might be doing while you listen. ~ Dave Thompson
