    This 12"/CD single teaser for the Chromatics' 2006 full-length features the Italo-Europop-influenced "Nite," complete with a cappella and instrumental versions. This track alone is well worth the price of admission, especially for fans of the Cybernetic Broadcasting System and any production from Dutch electro labels such as Viewlexxx and Clone. The second side features "The Guest," a mediocre attempt at a post-punk ballad, and "Glass Slipper," another stylish midtempo romp through Europop land infused with a bit of the DFA's production and arrangement sensibilities. ~ Rob Theakston
