Argentina-born Brit Chris de Burgh has achieved longstanding international success in many markets other than the American one, topping the charts in Europe, Canada, Brazil, and the UK, though his massive hits "The Lady in Red" and "Don't Pay the Ferryman" have proved irresistible stateside as well. After starting out as an opening act for Supertramp, Chris toured and worked exhaustively for a decade before attaining the level of success he now enjoys, though he still delivers his magical, scintillating live show all over the world. Here, de Burgh performs music from the album BEAUTIFUL DREAM, a compilation of his favorite songs--both his own and those of other artists--as well as some new work. The live concert took place at The Symphony Hall in Birmingham on September 9, 1995, and features the artist backed by a full orchestra.|
