A fraction of this material is covered in this wide-ranging best-of--the first time Melton has been featured on CD--in which the singer's classic, mannered tenor is heard on titles like the old folk song "Short'nin' Bread," the cowboy song "Carry Me Back to the Lone Prairie," and "O Image, Angel-Like and Fair" from Mozart's THE MAGIC FLUTE.
