Sharing an interest in 1960s French pop music, film soundtracks, and electronica, Allison Goldfrapp and composer Will Gregory began a collaboration known as Goldfrapp. The result was a unique sound that blended electronic beats with poppy, dreamlike vocals, creating a listening experience that defies categorization. Here, Goldfrapp performs two separate shows to sold-out crowds in London. The first concert is held at Shepard's Bush Empire in 2001, coinciding with the release of their debut album FELT MOUNTAIN. The set includes many tracks from the duo's first collaborative effort, as well as a rendition of Olivia Newton John's hit song "Let's Get Physical"--renamed "U.K. Girls (Physical), a cover of Baccaro's disco number "Yes, Sir, I Can Boogie," the never-before released "Little Death," and a rare track entitled "Sartorious." The latter concert is set in the beautiful outdoor setting of Somerset House, one of London's most impressive buildings. Here, Goldfrapp performs songs from their 2003 release, BLACK CHERRY.
