Molly Hatchet's second album with gravel-throated vocalist Jimmy Farrar (who replaced original singer Danny Joe Brown), TAKE NO PRISONERS is a sturdy slice of the slightly funky Southern hard rock that made the band famous. Highlights include "Respect Me In the Morning," which is reminiscent of Ted Nugent's classic "Just What The Doctor Ordered," and a version of Little Richard's "Long Tall Sally" that is delivered slowed down in heavy, Cactus-like fashion.
