Ex-Mamas & the Papas vocalist Denny Doherty released this solo album, WAITING FOR A SONG, in 1974. It upholds the sweet sunshine pop aesthetic of Doherty's previous group, and features harmony vocals from ex-bandmates Michelle Phillips and Mama Cass.
