A wildly self-congratulatory video compilation that mixes together the videos from Diamonds and Pearls, brief interview footage, bits of story, and live material. Some of it is a lot of fun, some of it is excellent ("Diamonds and Pearls" shows that Prince hasn't lost anything over time; he just loves the art of exploration, however) and some is just silly, but just as you're getting annoyed at a misfire, he tosses in a number like "Call the Law," a rap number that's fun, funny and does something for the rap genre that doesn't involve repeating cliches. And there are some nice visuals, too. ~ Steven McDonald
