商品の紹介

Rather than being a comprehensive career overview, 2000's The Boy Who Couldn't Stop Dreaming is more of an odds-and-sods collection. It gathers a couple of early singles, including the legendary "I Know Where Syd Barrett Lives" (the original 7" version and a later re-recording), plus the contents of a pair of Vinyl Japan CD EPs from 1995 and 1996, Far Away and Lost in Joy and Do You Think If You Were Beautiful You'd Be Happy, and a picture single of covers including odd, spooky versions of the Raincoats' "No One's Little Girl" and Pink Floyd's "Bike." The set also includes several tracks that overlap with the much more comprehensive Yes Darling, But Is It Art?, making this collection necessary only for those who need the interesting but not entirely essential mid-'90s EPs. Those looking for a Television Personalities collection with a wider range should seek out Cherry Red's 1999 selection Part Time Punks: The Very Best of the Television Personalities. ~ Stewart Mason
