Highlights this time out include the Encounters' insistent "Don't Stop," the Love Notes' lively and equally insistent "Don't Go," the galloping "Shelly" by the Velons, the Hemlocks' "Coralee," and the Velvets' "They Tried," which features some pretty intriguing piano lines, many of which veer into edgy discord.
