Maxi Priest, one of the most successful reggae artists of all time, drops his latest album. COMBINATION is not an album of dancehall jams but a mixture of pop, R&B, and reggae influences that come together in winning form. Priest joins forces with Sly & Robbie) and Handel Tucker on a cover of Stevie Wonder's "Golden Lady". Smooth R&B tracks like "What A Woman Needs" and "Here We Go", both produced by Joe Thomas, capture Priest's soulful side. Other tracks to check out include "Mary's Got A Baby," "Wasn't Meant To Be," and "Tell Your Man to Take A Walk", the latter a true dancehall classic in the making. COMBINATION is polished and well-rounded, with a great deal of diversity.
