Named by Alternative Press as one of the top 100 bands to know in 2005, the Lancaster, PA-based Sadaharu are a wake-up call for a rock scene they have deemed formulaic and conformist. Combining influences as disparate as jazz, rockabilly, and blues, they deliver a unique hardcore sound that is difficult not to dance to. Overtly political, they issue a challenge to listeners to dare to be different in the face of oppressive conformity. The band themselves more than follow through on this demand, and their energetic, driving, and inventive material has taken the music world by storm. Filmed at the Chameleon Club in Lancaster, PA, this show features such songs as "A Deconstructionist Approach To Popular Culture," "Absinthe Makes The Heart Grow Fonder," "It's Not Paranoia If The Are Shooting Live Bullets," "Anthem For New Sonic Warfare," and "Life Style Tips For The Dead (or even a broken watch is right twice a day)." Also included is the video for "It's not Paranoia if they're Shooting Live Bullets."|
