There are no contemporary songs -- it is supposed to capture the spirit of an olde-tyme Christmas. Since Shaw's arrangements are a little syrupy and mainstream, it doesn't quite reach its goal, but it's nevertheless a fairly entertaining listen that would work nicely as holiday background music. ~ Rodney Batdorf
