記念すべき日本でのデビュー作。現在のキュアーと比べるとかなりエキセントリックで粘着質のサウンドですが、中期のサウンドを彩るワウ・ギターやそれまでとは比べ物にならない重さと独特なうねりが聴くものの心に沈殿する重要作。キュアー補完作戦もいよいよ佳境といった感じの名作です。
