The follow-up supplement to Robert Hood's outstanding Molecules record finds the Superman of minimal techno calling upon his followers and comrades to assemble like super heroes at the Hall of Justice for this series of remixes, which originally appeared as four separate 12"s throughout the year before being assembled on one disc. The list reads like a lineup at an all-star game: Ricardo Villalobos, Akufen, Pantytec and Matthew Dear are among those contributing outstanding remixes -- each giving their own personal interpretation of minimal techno. Their imprints are easily identifiable with each interpretation; so much so that reading the liner notes to find out which remix is playing is unnecessary. These are remixes of the highest order and a fitting tribute to one of the artists who opened up the floodgates for their careers so early on in techno's development. ~ Rob Theakston
