Recorded live in 1980 at the Moonlight Club in London. The School Bullies was one of the monikers under which the Damned played secret gigs during their early period. Used as a live rehearsal before Damned tours, as well as an opportunity to really let loose, the Moonlight gigs featured an elusive set of songs which only saw the light of day on a few later compilations, if at all.
"Teenage Dream", which has appeared on two other compilations, is a glam-style punk kicker sharing a title with a Marc Bolan song. "Stretcher Case" is one of the few songs from the much-derided "Music For Pleasure" album that the Damned ever played live, while Sweet's "Ballroom Blitz" remains one of the band's most endearing covers and lends itself memorably to punk. Also included are rarely heard live tracks "Suicide" and "Problem Child". Most notable is the inclusion of a 25-minute interview with Rat Scabies which on its own makes this release of interest to collectors.|
