1980年8月31日～9月7日にサンフランシスコの＜キーストン・コーナー＞でのステージを収録。マーク・ジョンソン(b)、ジョー・ラバーベラ(ds)のいわゆる＜ラスト・トリオ＞での演奏で、ビル・エヴァンスが亡くなる約1～2週間前という最晩年の音源。キーストン・コーナーで行われた8日間のステージから厳選して音盤化した3枚のうちの1つ。

Also recorded during Bill Evans final dates at the Keystone Korner, this CD concentrates more on ballads. Recent Evans compositions included are "Tiffany" and "Your Story," both of which had been recorded live at the Village Vanguard but weren't available on commercial releases until after Evans' death. The pianist takes a number of long introductions, with "My Romance" proving that he still had plenty of fire on stage even as his life was ebbing away. ~ Ken Dryden|
