As lead rapper and founding member of The Poison Clan, JT Money was a highly influential MC, pioneering and ushering in the southern sound that Juvenile, Master P and his crew have brought to the next level. After releasing three albums on the now defunct Luke Skyywalker Records, JT Money is now back with his first solo record, PIMPIN' ON WAX. The lead off single, "Who Dat?," has a mega-infectious chorus that is sure to keep you chanting for hours on end.
There are plenty of players joining JT on his debut album. The original pimp himself, Too Short, drops a killer track with JT on "Pimping." Also joining the fray is Big Gipp of the Goddie Mob, whose track "Halright" finds him swapping lyrics with JT. Also check out "Kite To Ya Boy" and "On Da Grind." Produced by Dallas Austin, Chris "Tricky" Stewart and She'kespeare, PIMPIN' ON WAX is yet another slice of delicious southern-fried funk-flavored hip-hop.
