How do you follow up a multi-million-selling debut and a song ("I Love You Always Forever") that's reckoned to be the most-played song of all time in the U.S.? For this young Welsh songstress the answer was simple: keep growing and working. The result: BLUE PLANET. While all the elements that made Lewis such a hit are still in place here (the coy, waifish vocals, the lush, almost ambient synth textures, the infectious pop songcraft), she changes things up a bit. On tunes like the opening "Will Love Grow," Lewis combines her wispy pop with a loop-driven danceability that points towards a new direction for this ambitious singer.
