Initial pressings of HEARTWORK are packaged in a limited edition slipcase with an album artwork poster. Carcass: Jeff Walker (vocals, bass guitar); William Steer, Michael Amott (guitar); Ken Owen (drums). Loaded with breakneck percussion, shred-tastic guitar riffs, gut-punch Megadeth harmonies, and vocalist Jeff Walker's reptilian snarl, Carcass' HEARTWORK (1993) single-handedly influenced every band to emerge from the New Wave of Swedish death metal. This was quite a feat, as only one of the band members was actually Swedish; the other three called Liverpool, England, home. HEARTWORK was, and still is, an intoxicating combination of thrash metal technicality and death metal savagery.
