Jefferson is heard in top form doing a retrospective of his career with such pieces as "Moody's Mood for Love," a vocalese version of "I Cover the Waterfront," the humorous "Benny's From Heaven," "Jeannine," "Body and Soul," and "Freedom Jazz Dance"; there are 14 songs in all.
