★アルフレッド・デラーはイギリス出身のカウンター・テナー歌手。聖歌隊のソリストとして教会で長らく活躍した後、1943年にカウンター・テナー歌手としてソロ・デビュー。カウンター・テナーの歌声に対する当時の悪いイメージを刷新した、素朴な温もりにあふれる澄んだ歌声は絶品！カウンター・テナーの存在に慣れた現代の我々にもなお魅力的です。ファンの方はもちろん、これまで馴染みのなかった方にも是非お勧めしたい名盤です。
