Once one of rap music's favorite groups, Brand Nubian was responsible for what became a classic hip-hop album (ONE FOR ALL). Creative differences, though, led to a break-up, and Grand Puba, Lord Jamar, and Sadat X went their separate ways. After growing bored with the materialistic rhymes and gangster-driven lyrics of the group's successors, fans demanded a reunion from the socially-conscious rap trio, and Brand Nubian once again delivered with FOUNDATION, their fourth album (only the second featuring Puba). The album returns the group to the type of sound that once dominated the streets, featuring tracks such as "Don't Let It Go To Your Head," a song that checks individuals who let their fame get the best of them.
