With a surprisingly soulful vocal style that recalls early R&B crooners such as Frankie Lymon, Eamon details the myriad of ways in which he simultaneously enjoys and despises women, all over old-school minimalist beats and spare samples that give the lyrics added grit. Though his vitriol often makes Eminem's rants seem tame, Eamon's undeniably catchy combination of 1950s/'60s soul and gangsta rap places the artist among hip-hop's more intriguing modern acts.
