前作からヴェイグラントに腰を落ち着けたポール。オレにはこれしかできんから、と掻き鳴らすギターは、この新作でさらに無遠慮に。酔っ払いの聖歌隊みたいな歌声は、まんまリプレイスメンツなメロディーにガリガリとヤスリをかける。どちらかというとグランパボーイ名義に近い感触はあるが、どっちにしても基本は同じ。だらしなくも切ないロックンロールは、ますますアレックス・チルトンに近づいてる。
