In a style reminiscent of Vangelis or Enya, 2002 constructs universes of perfect bliss and complete tranquility, free of conflict or negativity. On THIS MOMENT NOW, glittering, otherworldly electronic elements are pleasantly brought down to earth with acoustic guitars, flutes, and piano. The ultra-romantic piano music that begins "Suddenly Yours" unfolds into a crescendo of layered, wordless vocals that sound like the sky cracking open to reveal pure joy. By contrast, "Life Is" is a somnolent, mysterious journey, and each turn in the path reveals a new element, such as fluttering flutes and regal horns. "Moment of Love," the only song that features lyrics, is a touching, tear-inducing expression of infinite ardor. As a whole, the album effectively creates a sense of relaxation and deep contentment--a great tool for meditation, relaxation, and bodywork.
