Earl Bostic cut more than 400 tunes for King in the '50s, and they issued them in haphazard fashion. They made multiple recordings of similar tunes with different groups, put out compilations and then band albums, issued singles and EPs, and more. This was merely one in the series, although it was a first-rate offering.
