'The Beginning Stages Of...' is the debut album from The Polyphonic Spree, a band consisting of the remaining members of Tripping Daisy and a few dozen of their friends. The end result is a mass congregation of white robed musicians composing orchestral rock and pop reminiscent of the Flaming Lips, Mercury Rev and Spiritualized.
