■Brian Wilson（ブライアン・ウィルソン）プロフィール
1942年6月20日、米カリフォルニア州イングルウッド生まれのミュージシャン。本名はブライアン・ダグラス・ウィルソン。
1961年にザ・ビーチ・ボーイズを結成。傑作中の傑作アルバム『ペット・サウンズ』や「アイ・ゲット・アラウンド」「グッド・ヴァイブレーション」ほか数多くのヒット曲を放ち、ザ・ビーチ・ボーイズを世界的なバンドへと導く。66年にシングルでソロ・デビュー。一頓挫を経て、88年に復活。初のグラミーをもたらした2004年の『スマイル』をはじめ、ソロ・アルバムでも大きな成功を収める。2015年に『ノー・ピア・プレッシャー』をリリース。2016年4月には『ペット・サウンズ』50周年記念の来日ツアーを開催。
アメリカ・ポピュラー音楽界に偉大な功績を残していました。
